Our Pub
The Rose & Crown in Thurnby is a much-loved village pub with roots going back to the 17th century. Uniquely set half in Thurnby and half in Bushby, it’s full of character with its thatched roof, skittles alley, and award-winning garden.
The garden, with its colourful flowers, seasonal displays, and views across the Thurnby Valley, has picked up several prizes and is a favourite place to enjoy a pint in the sunshine. Inside, the pub feels just as welcoming, with open fires, cosy corners, and the skittles alley, which also doubles up as a space for local events and celebrations.
The Rose & Crown is popular with walkers, families, and dog owners, offering all the charm of a countryside retreat while still being a lively, friendly local.
